  1. You could use the left over asparagus as a dip with pita chips . Also if you don't want to buy a whole thing of chili sauce and honey get some packets from McDonald's. And use soy sauce and brown sugar as your teriyaki . It's equally Delicious.

  2. Recipes look yummy! Just a hunt to making the finger sandwiches easier to assemble is to use frozen bread. When bread is frozen it is easier to trim off all the crust. During the holidays I go ahead and prep my breads, put them back in the bread bag while they are still frozen and put them back in the freezer. That way when I am ready to make my finger sandwiches I take them out, add my spreads and then cut in half or quarters. The bread thaws out while on serving trays. When I do this prep with my bread the crumbs don’t have filling on them so I can use it for stuffing, or I give them to a friend that has farm animals to feed them too. I can’t wait to try your asparagus sandwich spread and the other recipes! They all look so good! Thank you for sharing!

  3. They all have a great taste … very good recipes and easy to make. You get a thumbs up from me. 😉 One thing you may want to think about is presentation … 1/2 the taste is in your eyes. (lol) Placing the finger-shaped finger sandwiches on a bed of lettuce, lightly toast the bread (or not, but make sure the sides of the bread are still flat/squared and not pinched by the knife) and add the very tips of the asparagus to the spread after the spread is mixed (just fold in the individual chopped tips into small pieces, or use thinly sliced/chopped pimento for color). With the cream cheese clouds you might want to use an egg wash before baking or even melted butter after baking, to give a bit of a gloss to the tops. For the kielbasa/pineapple bites, soaking the toothpicks in water for about 15 to 20 minutes will avoid any 'instant flames", especially if you use long party toothpicks. You might find it easier to put the glaze in a narrow/smaller bowl and dip the bites into the glaze, then set them on the baking tray on parchment paper for baking. (I do hope you don't mind the hints. I catered for many years and always welcomed suggestions …even if I found my own way better to my liking … we all have our own ways of doing things.) Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

  4. They do look delicious would love to try them. May I say though that Finger Sandwiches are quartered sized which would be about 2 inches [or Bing definition Finger sandwiches are smaller in size, and are served as appetizers or cocktail snacks. They are the favorite snacks at the tea parties. This sandwich is called 'finger sandwich' because it is cut into small finger-like strips. They are generally 1-2" wide and 4-5" long. Reference:].

  5. Maybe it’s just me but canned asparagus is really awful. Doesn’t taste at all like fresh asparagus . Couldn’t you use fresh instead or will that change the texture, etc. ? I promise, l won’t make these unless it can be changed up . I love cream cheese, mixed with various ingredients, stuffed in celery sticks.

  6. Once you cut the crusts off the sandwiches, cut the sandwich corner to corner to make into 4 triangles – that is a true finger sandwich …the recipes all sound delicious & can't wait to try them – GREAT for Christmas & New Year's Eve..
